Advanced techniques such as Guniting, Shotcreting, Micro Concreting, Carbon Fibre Wrapping and Grouting (epoxy, polymer & cement) are used to repair and rehabilitate buildings. Description
Due to a fire the entire Vigyan Bhavan building was highly damaged.
Salient feature/USP
As there was extensive strucutural damage, multiple methods were used for the repairs. Techniques like Polymer modified cemet mortar, epoxy mortar, shortcreting, column jacketing, cement/epoxy grouting and where no repairs possible, structures were dismantled and recasted. CPWD presented us with an award for the quality and performance.

Description
Articulation joint of balanced cantilever bridge was damaged and existing bearings were to be replaced by elastomeric bearings
Salient feature/USP
Due to atypical topography lifting of span from river bed was not possible. Suspended span was lifted from the bridge deck and by providing structural steel system of 2 girders for each articulation joint.

Description
Bearing of balanced cantilever bridge was damged
Salient feature/USP
Support was taken from river bed and Bridge Suspended span was lifted by hydraulic jacks. Old bearings were replaced with new bearings for which traffic was diverted for two days per week. Work of Bearing replacement was completed in 17 weeks and the damaged concrete around articulation joint was repaired with epoxy mortar.

Description
Concrete at articulation supporting suspended span was damaged severely at two places and there were chances of collapse of suspended span
Salient feature/USP
External prestressing was used to support suspended span and damaged articulation was dismentalled and recasted. Old bearings were replaced by new bearings and the bridge was repaired without closing of traffic.

Description
Cooling towers at Nellore were damaged and top ring beam and shell had collapsed. We recasted this ring beam at a height of 100m and also repaired the structure to enhance the structural life of the cooling tower.
